The not-for-profit organization MEITO was founded in 1984. As a skills network and vector for convergence, it brings together 300 members: companies, universities, research centres, engineering colleges, business schools and institutional partners.
MEITO's goal is to be a value-added networking tool for the electronics/IT/telecoms sector and to provide its members with information, events and support services.
To this end, MEITO is actively and fully integrated into the Brittany region's innovation and economic development networks. It also acts as an influential think tank for French national organisations and institutions.
The MEITO regularly updates its programmes and implements activities which address the specific needs of its members and its funding bodies*.
